Well, I'm here, if any other FYZers show up in the mean time before FYZ goes live again, please announce your return here. And John, shame on you for ignoring both of my e-mails prior to you opening this board.

Hey Mav, good to have you. Sorry if I didn't reply to your emails. I don't check it frequently, and when I do, usually it is flooded with loads of spam.

No problem, it was mainly me asking what the deal was with FYZ as I didn't have a way to contact any of the other members (I'm not a ETS member).
Hmm, I must say I'm a little dissapointed that no one else has shown up yet, hopefully once the actual website is back up that will change.

I wish I had the email addresses of former FYZers, unfortunately I didn't get ahold of any of them. If I can find Valdark, darkangel, Tassity's, and voodoo's email addresses, I'll try emailing them to see if they have a way of contacting former FYZers...

Alive and well. Yes you can PM via ETS just search for the member you want to contact and there is an option to PM.

Last time I checked FYZ was still "parked by dreamhost" so I'm assuming it's about to be relaunched. And now that we have a place to converse again until it goes live, hopefully things will go a lot more smoothly. Thank you very much John!
And Tas, I tried to join your replacement forum as well when you set it up, but something was wrong with the signup process and I was unable, any idea what that was about?

Ah, that's a shame, it seems that the majority of people have lost interest in general.
There seems to be this belief that FYZ and the members of the AIR forum on ETS are just a bunch of wackos. Now, some of them are, but I never took FYZ to be a "resistance" movement, but rather a place for people inspired by Year Zero to become more politically active/aware to gather and discuss issues. I don't see what's so wrong with that, but nowadays there seems to be some stigma attached to the whole "AIR" thing.

i think since that whole spray paint at the school issue the entire concept was burned a bit in everyone not involved.
Would anyone else think now to be a good time to rename? I personally thought that fight year zero would link too much to such things. I love the tribute to where we started from, however, a new name that promotes more of a detached concept may get us farther

Well, I really like the name ( has a nice sound when you abbreviate and such), and it doesn't seem too bad to me. Year Zero as a concept is a fine thing to stand against.
It would be the same as if they called it "Fight 1984" IMO.
